It is a New year! We will have a New format!! This
year we will be infusing Elizabeth George's bible study "A Mom after
God's own heart" into the session. Included in your dues this year is
the cost of a bible study book and study guide. Each session we will be
discussing a chapter of the book and growing in the Lord together. We
will be switching from meeting in fellowship hall across the street to
meeting upstairs in the education building for a more intimate
environment to allow us more round table discussion and sharing. We will
have one special guest speaker to kick us off in the fall and one to
kick us off in the Spring.
Our first session, September 10th
we will have a very special mother, Alecia Crawley, come and share her
testimony and how the Lord ministered to her during the loss of her
daughter, the goodness of the Lord in how he allowed her to see her
legacy in teaching her children about Jesus and the blessing of her
obedience in seeing her daughter's life and death and how it impacted
her school and community for Jesus.
Monday, January 28th will be our
Spring kickoff and we will have Heather McAnear to share with us her
testimony and how the Lord is teaching her to to train her children in
God's ways.
Instead of doing dues for both
Fall and Spring, this year we have combined it to a yearly rate and it
also includes the cost of your bible study book and study guide. The
yearly cost per mom is $50. To help supplement costs of our Little
Blessings program we will have a dues of $35 per child enrolled for the
entire year. We will have to continue to do fundraising to help provide
for the budget of our Little Blessings Program. We currently have 10
teachers and our budget for the entire year for this program alone is
$5600.00. Please continue to pray for this program and the Lord's
provision so that we may be able to continue to minister to Moms and
grow in the Lord together with Moms in our community.
We do plan to have some breakout
groups at the end of each session so that Moms can share and pray for
one another. We will also continue to do breakfast but since we will not
have tables assigned to this year we will break that up into Moms that
names start with the letter A-C, D-F, ect..
We hope and pray that making some
of these changes will allow more freedom in the group and help as we
focus this year on discipleship and prayer. We are so looking forward to
growing in the Lord together with you and striving to be Moms after
God's own Heart. We pray that you will open your heart to all that the
Lord wants to teach you this year through the Moms 31 Ministry and we
pray that it will be a priority for you to come and be a vital part as
we share life and share Christ! We are enrolling now and really need you
to let us know if you are committed to come and be a part so that we
can plan for our Little Blessings Program. We are so thankful for you
and look forward to seeing you in the Fall!
